I have a 2011 NG 9-5 that I bought in June. I love the vehicle, and like others here said, most routine engine parts are GM-compatible, so no problems so far. I did have a mishap on a freeway with road debris that damaged my front bumper skin and turbo transcooler in August, before parts started coming in more regularly. They found a transcooler right away (probably from Buick), but had to backorder the skin. I got a call from the dealer last week that the skin is in, so I'm picking it up this week. The dealer told me they also pressed enough sheet metal to supply more than the number of 9-5s in the US, so it should be OK for at least few years.

Bottom line: You can still get most parts
