I understand while you've bailed on your NG9-5 and I hope you didn't take too much of a bath on the trade.

My kids are getting taller and the rear seat in our 9-3s seem to be shrinking so I'll need a larger car in about a year. I've considered the NG9-5 but just can't pull the trigger for all the well-known reasons about paying a lot of money for an ophaned brand, availability of parts (windshields!), potential software issues, etc.

There's one right now I'm very much interested in -- a 2011 with 16K miles for $22K -- but I can't do it at that price. Yup, it's seems relatively inexpensive but what is the price of the risk I'm taking? I'd jump at the car at $19K but I can't touch it at $22K.

Too bad. They seem like amazing cars and the EuroNCAP safety videos I've seen have sold me on it. I just can't do it.
