Interesting.
When Saab "updated" the first time , back in '65 I noticed not an iota of pressure difference between cable and oil.
When a true heavy duty pressure plate was employed - wow ! What a difference.
A woman may feel and appreciate the 20% force reduction.
Back in the 60s, the 70s, the hydraulics were far to prone to leak and malfunction. Maybe they are better today..
