about using a silicone hose there vs. OEM Saab line? I believe it is nothing more than a fuel rubber hose, at least the one I am looking at (42 27 906, I believe). However, aside from model cars and planes, I never seen a Silicone line associated with fuel vapor lines. I know that gasoline can disolve silicone sealants, so I assume something similar for silicone lines. being that this line is nothing more than a vaccum/vent line, I do not see why a silicone line in this case would be a problem.
Interestingly, I have a gash in that line and not single symptom. Maybe, a itsy little bit of rough idle, but that could be a million other things.
