Hi,

I bought a manual 97 SE Turbo Convertible about a year ago. It was very taken car of, has only 66k miles now, drives really well, has no problems, a. I recently got the 65k tuneup. A few months ago, I went to a SAAB dealership and drove an 01 Viggen Convertible with about 30K miles on it and was completely blown away by the speed and performance. Though my car has some pretty decent pep, it more or less felt like a slug immediately after driving the Viggen. Obviously, these are two different vehicles; e.g., my car's older and has a smaller engine. But can the upgrades I've read about that you can do to NG 900 turbos that will increase the horsepower into and beyond Viggen territory, actually make my them feel ANYTHING like a Viggen? And if the upgrades can, will I hurt the engine and longevity of the car? A couple grand for upgrades to do so seems like relative bargain to me if it won't blow up my car. Currently my engine has none. It's the stock 185hp. I would greatly appreciate anyone's advice and the best upgrades to do. David
