The MY '01 Viggen colors are laser red, steel gray, and black. The red is pretty much your standard bright red color, though not quite as electric as a Ferrari's rosso corsa. Black is black (big surprise). The gray is best described as dark Audi TT gray, but maybe not quite as dark as that. Not what you wanted to hear, I know.
That having been said, I have not seen the red or gray on an actual car. I've seen paint samples at my dealer, but those rarely match the car exactly.

As a side note, people did complain about torque steer in Caddies up until recently. Aside from the high price, that was one of the main factors leading to the demise of the Allante. And the previous generation STS moved around much worse than my Viggen, and it weighed 4000 lb! The press just didn't complain about it as loudly. Probably because they had other things to complain about on those cars (torque steer and the key in the middle are about the only 2 things I ever see the press complain about on a Saab).
I've never had a real problem with torque steer on my Viggen. Yeah, if you're acclerating uphill hard on a bumpy surface, the car tramlines around. I've never had the car move too dramatically - it doesn't try to change lanes or fishtail or anything - it just moves to the left or right about a foot and the steering gets very light. And if you lift off even a little, it settles back down. It's annoying, but usually I don't even correct for it, since it's over as soon as the pavement smooths out or you shift up a gear.
