Hi All,
As a few of you know, I removed my catalytic converter from my car a few months ago. Well, now I need to take the car in for service and I don't like the way the car pollutes. I am looking into a way to increase performance while keeping the car emissions friendly. When a company uses the term "Race Catalyst", I am assuming that it abides by emissions laws. If that assumption is wrong please advise me. I have found a few different options. The system that seems the best is from Nordic (http://www.saabtuning.com). It replaces the pipe from the turbo to the catalyst with 3" and includes a "race" catalyst. It is costly (about 900) and is the most expensive of all of them but with the 3" pipe it seems like it would do the job. Abbot racing and Hirsche have sport catalysts, since the oem cat is built in to the down pipe it should be the same.
What should I do? Which has the better quality product Nordic, Hirsch, or Abbott? And is it worth spending the extra money for the complete system from nordic?
Thanks in Advance,
Mike
