I bought a 1999 Viggen on Good Friday of 2000 and haven't had any problems at all save the minor recalls that were performed (with no problems) and I had the dealer replace my Viggen Wheels as they were fading slightly - done no questions asked.

It is very solid - no rattles or squeaks (as is often the complaint). I not have approximately 17K miles on it and love it more now than the day I bought it. My car is build in a different plant in Finland, but I would think the Swedish built cars would be the same or better.

Remember - there's a chance of lemons with ANY make you buy from the lowliest Koreans to the vaunted Hondas. The most important thing is that YOU love the car, and you feel confortable with the deal you get.

You may have problems, you may not. Looks like out of the 8-10 posts here, only one mentioned chronic problems thus far.
