Question about the Viggen>>

First off, let me say that I'm a newbie when it comes to Saabs (awaiting arrival of my 01 SE 5-spd). My question is why the power output of the Viggen is only 25hp more than an SE despite having 300cc more displacement, a better intercooler, and running much more boost. To me it seems like it should have at least 250+ horsepower. Is the Viggen's hp underrated, detuned, lower compression, or something else. I currently own a 95 Mustang GT convertible which came with 225hp stock. I've added a Paxton supercharger and I'm runnning 6 pounds of boost. With the only other power mods being a complete exhaust (shorty headers, H-pipe, and Borla catback), I turned 285 rwhp on a dyno. Figuring stock GT's regularly dyno around 185-190rwhp (for MY1995) and being generous by giving 20 horsepower for the exhaust, I still added around 80 horsepower from six pounds of boost. Thats why I find it hard to fathom how you can only gain 25 horsepower from all the upgrades that the Viggen receives. What gives? Thanks for any info you can provide.
