Go with the full synthetic. Mobil 1 is better than Castrol's synthetic which technically is not fully synthetic.
The washer is a soft copper washer that forms a crush seal. After they are used, they will not crush again. I wrap my washer with teflon plumbing tape each time, and re use for years.
Use only a 6 point socket on the drain plug. A 12 point socket will trash the drain plug and you will be needing a new one.
The difference between a quart and a liter is small, ignore it. But if you look in your owner's manual, you will find the numbers listed in quarts and liters, or whatever is suitalbe for your market.
5w30 in a full synthetic will be a good oil for all seasons. If you live in a very hot climate, perhaps 10w30 would be better.
Use a good oil filter. Avoid most Fram filters and house brands.
1 liter = 1.057 US quarts
