A quart equals .946l or 946ml.
So the SAAB requires 4.0l, so what I do is pour 4 full quarts of oil into the car after drain and filter change. That totals 3.78l of oil. Then on the 5th quart there is a mark that says 250ml (which means You've poured out 250ml of oil and it is at the top of the bottle). I pour until the oil left in the 5th quart is a little above that mark. Or you could do like Dean says and just ignore the difference.
