The key words you said there were head-bobbing. I have the B&G springs which are progressive and stiffer. Initial impact is softer because of the prgressiveness. Head bobbing is from excessive suspension movement which is now limited to what I consider a normal level. The initial impact and head bobbing really bugged me. They're gone now. The car feels normal.
Note; the Konis can pump down the stock springs when set to 1/2 stiff or stiffer and cause the springs to "spring" back too slowly and make the car bounce even more.
