Depends on how deep the scratches are. I use a porter cable orbital polisher and a variety of polishes like the ones avail. from Griots.

You can use these by hand too. If the scratches are very light you can try a good cleaner wax (Meguiars is o.k.) which has mild abrasives. Then follow up with several coats of carnuba wax which will have a filling effect on anything that is left. I have also heard good things about the Zaino products ... multiple coats to help fill in defects.
