I know the “older” Saab generation is fixated on the Hatch, but in reality it’s just not that useful.

How many times do you move something that too big for a trunk, but yet still able to fit in the hatch? How many TVs or toilets do you buy in a year?

I have a new Vector and love it, but I never would of bought it if it had a hatch. I’ve owned a couple cars with hatches and never found them that much better then a trunk, but in a luxury car I don’t think a Hatch is a plus. I didn’t buy it to haul cargo; I bought it to haul me. If I want to haul cargo I have a perfectly good pickup.

And from the sales figures for the new 93 I would say that there are a lot of people out there that agree with me.

Have any of you ever thought about what would happen if one those paint cans or tar buckets sprung a leak all over your interior? I have had it happen before on my old Honda, not a pretty sight.
