Not sure what the graph of the torque curves looks like from 2000rpms on up but generally I have found to these very functional cars to be lacking in character, state of the art safety and utility. Past experience is the cars are somewhat lacking in the fun to drive department as well.
In comparison the SAAB 9-3 Vector generates 221 ft/lbs at 2500 rpms such that the Vector should "feel" more satisfying in normal driving conditions.
