The Throttle Body Transision Casting is what is bolted onto the top of the throttle body with two 10mm hex bolts. It is easy to remove. It has a 1/4" to 3/16ths blunt step reduction of the flow cross section at the small end. This needs to be blended up as far as the first bend, use a 1" medium grit sanding drum and a drill or flex shaft. Search for further details. You will get more power and the reduction of turbulance will actually make for smoother power at the same time.. which feels great, but is counter intuative at first. Do not blend out the larger exit end of the TBTC. You can make some corrections and smoothing to it, but you need to understand what needs to be done at that end. Any proper work to the large end will have little effect in any case.
If your turbo compressor exits to a hard pipe below in the direction of the battery, remove that hard pipe and remove the restrictor that you might find inserted into it. Probably will come out in pieces, either way, toss into the trash. If you install the Viggen IC, that hard pipe goes away and then any issue with the silencer does not apply.
