does your service book shows interval of 10K? mine has place to stamp for every 5K. But they do say I need to use "blend". Some dealer missed stamping it, but I believe I have the receipt for it. (that would show them that their dealers are not doing the job)

What I complain is that they don't wan't you to worry at all and bring it in to the shop unless you hear the noise or you see the oil warning light. here is the quote from the letter:

"Should you experience abnormal noises from the engine and or the oil pressure warning light is illuminated, you should contact your authorized Saab dealer. Saab dealers will not(bold) inspect vehicles if eigher of the conditions noted above are not present."

I think by the time you hear the noise or see the light is too fing late! That's like saying we believe your airbag might not deploy in case of accident, but unless you don't see the airbag light on, don't bring it in for a recall.

They should be obligated to inspect all the cars under these models and clean up the little sludge built if there is any. If we hear abnormal noise or see an oil warning light, we will contact the shop regardless of this letter. What were they thinking???

PS- I think you can issue a receipt to your self. Just back date them. They can't prove nothing.
