Wayne, Thank you for your explanation of the opperation of an automatic transmissin/ torque converter. You made it very understandable. I checked the fluid level when this all began, I estemate that it was at least 1.5 qts. over full. I drained out some of the fluid, which seemed to help some. I Can get by dropping the trans into drive. It wll shift but not quite normal. By the way oil level is still .25 inches above full mark on dip stick. Thanks Mike
