- Don't worry about the bypass valve for now unless you do the ECU
- Saab exhausts are the easiest in the world to work on
- turbo not needed, you can get lots of HP without it
- intercooler if you get really serious about HP. Long job but not difficult
- nordic ECU is easy job, hits your wallet a bit
- intake?
- mounts are medium difficulty.
- 9~3 grill takes 2 minutes to change
- the sensor snaps out. Careful, it's easy to break it once the grill is off the front of it. Not sure cleaning it will do anything positive.
On the HP side, search for Dean's instructions for porting the turbo pipes and throttle body. Remove the turbo silencer. Build a modified airbox and consider a K&N.
If you are thinking of all these HP mods, you should be thinking of suspension mods. Koni shocks, steering rack brace, rear bar to start. Consider replacing other front end parts while you have it all apart.
