I suppose either location would be just as valid as the other as a striking target. In this configuration the blows would actually lessen the pressure on the bearings, and there really isn't that much tension on things to begin with.. just enough to encourage the joint to separate. On other cars thar are more accessible I've applied this tension by hand..
Yeah, the ramps are great.. I should have made them 2 feet shorter though, so they could stand up.
