call it what you wish Posted by Viggen Aero [Email] (#977) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Viggen Aero) on Wed, 5 Aug 2009 21:53:19 In Reply to: Agreed, newwithasaab, Mon, 3 Aug 2009 17:39:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Call it what you wish. The net result is the same. I just put my Viggen back on the road after a 2 year hiatus. I forgot how bad the " torque steer was ". I think it borders on being dangerous. After all these years it still boggles my mind that no one corrected this during initial testing. My 97 Aero with stage 2 and 9-5 Aero suffer none of the Viggen's affliction. Agreed- they are not as fun to drive either. The Viggen just is incredible exept for aforementioned issues.
I wish I had installed a GS Steering rack clamp and 6 pt brace while I had the subframe and engine removed. Not enough funds at the time. The replacement engine, clutch, etc. was big bucks- but the labor was free- mine.
Those items will soon be installed- they are a must have- in my opinion.
