Nobody can tell you how long your car will run, but 100,000 miles is not much for really any modern engine. When you consider how well built the Saab engines are, you can usually bet on achieving pretty high mileage. I'd be surprised to see any well cared for Saab engine die before reaching 200,000 miles, and I understand there have been quite a few to survive a few hundred thousand more than that.
If you're worried about the bolts being too rusted get yourself a can of PB Blaster and soak them daily for a week, when the time comes to do the repair heat them up with a cheap propane torch and they should come off with a good fitting 6-point socket. Just make sure not to try using a 12-point socket, because you are sure to round off the heads. If you're working on nuts and studs, try spraying and heating both nut and the area around the stud as this will reduce the possibility of breaking the stud.
Also, you could purchase a universal catalytic converter for around $85 and you should be able to find a shop to install that in your existing pipe (assuming the rest of the pipe is ok) for around $50. This way, you're only left with replacing the center muffler, and that is an EASY job; and the total cost should be around $300-$350.
