Cigarette lighter is probably the easiest/best bet. That's how I hardwired my V1 in my 9000. The V1 came with a kit that included everything needed to hardwire, but I'm sure you can get the components easily at Radio Shack (er, "The Shack" now apparently). Just stuff the wire into the headliner and A-pillar as 93Gator is talking about.
Only reason I haven't hardwired my V1 into my 9-3 is because I can't really stuff the wire into the headliner, since it's a convertible.
