Open the door and look at the top of the mirror cover, you will see two plastic rivets. Push the center pin of the rivet down about 1/2 inch (be careful not to push the pin in all the way because it will fall out of the bottom of the rivet). Now gently pry the rivets out of their holes. The cover will pull right off. When you reinstall, butt the pins out of the bottom of the rivets, put the cover back on, push the rivets into the holes, and push the pin through the top of the rivet until it is flush.
You will also need to take a bunch of screws out of the door. There are a few hidden ones. You need to pry the cover off of the inside door handle to expose 2 screws. There is also round plug behind the door latch (the handle that opens the door). You need to pry that out and remove the screw that sits behind it. Then the final screws are around the perimeter.
