I would think you could get easily get between 150K to 200K miles out of a 900s. This all depends on prior sevice history of this car, and how well it was cared for. If it has been taken care of with regular oil changes, and transmission fluid, coolant, and filters changed periodically, it will likely be good for many more miles once you get it back on the road.

I guess your choices are $100 towards a new car, which is not going to buy much at all, or $1500 for a car you have some experience with that should be good to drive for at least a year before needing any other servicing, except maybe a oil change or two.

Last consideration is that someone on this site may offer you much more than $100 to buy your car.
