Well for me every system in the car is very complicated and I guess A/C is probably completely out of my reach, but I only hope to check for simple staff. Probably, I will be able to replace cabin air filter myself.
To answer Anders' comment: the system seems to hold pressure if measured with toy gauge that came with R134a can, but since John asked about my measuring tools, I would imagine the toy gauge is not adequate, that is why I asked about the trace paint to check for any leaks. Last time I checked with a toy gauge the system had normal pressure (according to toy scale). I do not think I would be able to get an access to serious measuring too.
To answer John's comment: I am not sure how to check if compressor clutch is engaged. I would assume that it is, since A/C produces some cold air.
Any suggestions on how to check expansion valve if it sticking open?
Thanks again for your answers, guys!
Regards,
Alex
