hi, posted before about this problem, still not resolved.
I have a 94 2.0 turbo. I drove the car to work, on the highway it stumbled a couple of times. Off the highway, as I approached stop lights, I had to rev it to 2K+ to stop it from stalling. As I pulled into the parking lot, I had a hard time to keep it running. It died as I pulled into the parking spot. It would not restart. (it turns overs ok) When I try to start it almost catches, but doesn't. I replaced the DIC with a known good one(I am swapping parts off of my other car,a running 1996 turbo), I then swapped the CPS sensor, fuel pump and the FPR. I have run out of ideas, I do have a spare CPU from an old parts car. ( it was a 94 turbo as well), but I don't think the car would have stopped the way it did if the cpu died. I have not measured the pressure on the fuel rail, I don't have a gauge, I have not replaced the fuel filter, but I would think if it was dirty, the car would start and then die. The plugs are less then a year old. Any Ideas? I don't have a Saab mechanic anywhere near me.. The towing fees to the nearest Saab guy would not be worth it.
thanks for any input.
