Was just at a salvage auction the other day here in town. There were plenty of cars that ran perfectly fine going for hundreds or even just over $1,000. Some cars went for $5. There was a black 3 door 2000 Viggen that I did some research on ahead of time and even talked to the shop that last worked on it. It had a blown engine, as in one or more pistons were toast or worse. Almost 100k on the clock. Front and rear bumpers quite damaged. Dents on both sides, one sort of major. Broken windows all around. Junky aftermarket wheels with completely flat and I also assume ruined tires. They only had one key, and not even the remote for the locks, so they'd not be able to arm the alarm... Went for $2,000.
