You have to be a little creative. my problems. Harder for me since I have a Viggen. Lower front bumper, lower car in general. I need to figure this out since I have to do the front brakes soon.
I would simply jack it from the nose (there is a factory jacking point there), but even if I did that, I wouldn't be able to generate enough lift to get jackstands under the two side front jacking points. My plan is to first drive the car onto a couple of plates of wood (maybe a couple inches in height) to raise the car by about two inches. I would then place the jack in front, under the nose onto a piece of wood of the same height as the plates used to drive the car onto thereby raising the jack by the same height. Then, I would be able to raise it high enough to get two jackstands in the sides.
The annoying thing with this is that you have to do everything carefully in reverse.
But, I don't think I have any other choice, really. I have to do this tedious process.
Those jackstands you linked to are AMAZING. Do you know if one can simply buy those stands and use one's existing jack?
BTW I'd try and avoid what you're doing for the sake of not damaging your car.
