Shimmy when braking between 50-45 MPH only Posted by Gregg [Email] (#677) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Gregg) on Tue, 20 Mar 2012 05:51:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Please help me diagnose a shimmy that I have only when braking between 50 and 45 MPH. The wheel shakes left to right. I don't notice any pull of the car during this time. Once I've braked past 45 the shimmy goes away. I don't have any issues accelerating or maintaining speed just braking. I'm not braking hard either.
This is a 2001 Vert w/ 139000 miles. I've owned the car for a little over a year and a half and have put on about 15,000 miles in that time. The shimmy is fairly new. Within the last 2 weeks or so.
Thanks in advance for any help w/ this. I've got an order started at eeuroparts for some other stuff and thought I'd through this out there as well and buy parts if I can all in one order.
