I had this happen on my c900…bubbles popping up in the coolant expansion tank, high pressure when I opened the tank cap (I mean wicked high pressure, not just hot steam pressure).
I replaced my HG, and all was better.
As you know, most fail with oil/coolant going into the cylinders, and this is probably happening to your car at some silly low level, so you don't notice...but a nice ~18 PSI additional boost pressure is higher than the oil or coolant Pressure, and exhaust/air 'can' go into the coolant line. any frothing in the oil?
Its an easy job, just do it.
