They're usually worn out at 100K. See how easy it is to pull the strut rod in/out. One direction will be easy, the other should be difficult. I'd expect that on yours, one will be easy, the other just a little harder.
It doesn't cost much more for Koni vs. the Sachs/BOGE stock units, so if you can afford a few bucks, go that way and do front and rear. It will make a huge difference, even with them set to soft.
