I've been searching comments on this BB regarding front suspensions on OG 9-3's. I have an '02 Viggen. It seems that most agree that the front suspension wears out around 120K miles on these cars, including the strut inserts. So I would vote for replacement now, as you'll probably need it in the next 10-20K miles anyway. I'll be doing a strut insert replacement this summer, as mine have begun to knock around a bit. I'll also do strut mounts, lower control arm (Febi brand), and sway bar end links/bushings. Eeuroparts has Sachs and Bilstein strut inserts. Genuinesaab.com has adjustable Koni strut inserts. I will probably go with those. Keep in mind that there are a number of one-use-only locking nuts in the front suspension, so order those, too. My Haynes manual mentions which ones need to be renewed.
