I got rid of my noise. It doesn't look great, but not so bad either. I used black electrical tape over both the leading and trailing edges of the top widow molding, i.e. cheap rubber thing. This keeps the windstream from picking up either edge and making the noise. Like I said, it doesn't look the greatest, but it works. If you take your time and put it on really straight, it almost blends in with the actual molding.
The only other option is glueing it down, which is okay for the leading edge. The problem is that doing that to the trailing edge can lead to problems if you have to get it off to change the windshield.
I share your frustration, though. A $30k car should not have this type of problem. I experience it much worse, because at autobahn type speeds here in Germany, I've had nearly the whole thing rip out!
