You could go that route. But you would not have Saabs trionic. The motronic would provide mixture contol up to a point. You could add a rising rate pressure regulator. That would help. The cams in the 2.3l engine might provide too much overlap. So you will be venturing into uncharted territory. You could go to a turbo shop and let them go at it. This is all possible, and expensive for a one off effort. You still need to replace parts of the intake, and you would still need the Saab turbo exhaust manifold. Then the down pipe and cat are still an issue. You still need the intercooler and plumbing.
