The back spay head can probably be cleared by using a thine wire. Do you hear the pump run? The same pump does the front and rear jets. It has the polarity reversed and spins in different directions. So if it works up front, it should have pressure for the rear as well. It is common for the rear jet to plug. It might have a fair amount of deposits in it so a few goes with the wire is to be expected. The rubber hose that feeds it produces a waxy silt.
New front pads on old rotors? I can see that sqeaking.
Who said the muffler is ratteling inside? Could be a bent heat shield. If you have the original echaust system, then it is old enough to be going.
The cable broke probably because the cluch it self is heavy. Or was is smooth and easy to depress for a while? The throw out bearing might need some lub between it and the trany shaft on which it slides as you depress the petal. There is a small cover which provides some limited access.
