Green.... have you got engine coolant in your oil? This often makes a whitesh froth. Also look for oil or soot in the coolant.
Temperature guage at 9'oclock positon. Concerned that you heard boiling. On the highway the rad fan does not need to run to get cooling.
Timing chain fighting with the sprockets? tensioner.
Fuel does not seem like an issue. You hjave a high compression engine. You should be running hi-octane all of the tie, otherwise the ECU is retarding the spark to avoid knocking and your power is reduced.
Watch for appearance and levels of engine oil and coolant.
Air in power steering fluid? Check for level and leaks if low.
So a few things to check your self.
What oil are you using?
Exhaust smells normal, or sweet from coolant.
If you cannot resolve this yourself, get to a dealer ASAP and have the oil pressure measured at the pressure switch. There has been a few problems with low oil pressure on the 2.3 NA engines. Better to get the work done than loose an engine. We don't have any hard diagnostics yet, but low pressure, chain tensioners not working and bits of chain blocking the oil intake screen and chewing up the pump etc. We don't know what the primary causes are.
What oil have you been using?
Auto box fluid level ok?
None of that you write about sounds fuel related.
Power was/is ok? mpg's ok? started/starting ok? idles ok?
Pull the plugs and look for anything unsual about condition or smell.
