The haze on the headlights is most likely from dirt on the inside of them. I dumped some rubbing alcohol in mine and swished it around for a bit, then rinsed them out with the hose. If I do that again I would go with something not so strong as I think it removed some of the chrome inside.
You might also want to take off you rear tail light lenses and put them in the dishwasher.
