I will second the use of Griot's Garage Best of Show wax. While my Saabs are not red, I DO have a red Peugeot 405 Mi16 (laugh all you want...its the best handling FWD sedan on the road!) that was recently repainted (more Alfa red, in that it is less orange-esque than some). The Griot's does a tremendous job of providing a rich shine to the paint.
I used Zymol in the past (the $35 can stuff) which looks great, lasts a while, but is a real pain to get off....
If you want to get rid of swirl marks, I recommend 3M Perfect It II rubbing compound to rid clean the surface, then glaze, then wax. I did this on my MC yellow 900T convertible, and the paint looks new.
Good luck!
