I was away this weekend detailing cars and am now getting caught up.
Swirl mark remover is pretty mild stuff. Imagine a polish scale of 1-10, with 10 being the most aggressive polish out there. If glaze (which has no abrasives at all) is a 1, SMR is about a 3. Its plenty safe to use on your car. And it should work fine with AIO. Any residue left from the SMR will be dissolved & removed by the solvents in the AIO.
A 3 yr old off-lease car is gonna need some polishing unless it was just done by a detailer. SMR won't hurt a thing so feel confident in its abilities.
Clouding/hazing/streaking/smearing usually is caused by one of two things: Using too much product during application, or using the product in difficult weather conditions (too hot, too humid, too cold, etc). I detailed 3 cars and a show motorcycle this past weekend and had some challenges with clouding and streaking. Temps were in the low 90s and humidity was 70%+. Almost every product will act fussy in those conditions. If you do experience some clouding, spritz on a little water or detail spray onto the panel and wipe off. The moisture should "flash cure" the product and remove the clouding. If its still there it may take some time for the product to cure on its own. Be patient. The worst thing that can happen is that you'll have to strip off the product and start over but there won't be any permanent damage.
I hope this helps. Lemme know if you have more questions.
