I am 99% sure yours are just held on with adhesive (I know they are on older SAABs). I've read a bit about this, because I'm planning to remove the 2.3t badge from my CS, and my plan, based what I've read others have done, is to approach it this way:
Heat the badge with a hairdryer, to soften the adhesive
Slide a piece of dental floss under one corner edge of the badge to be removed (it may be necessary to very carefully lift the edge with a small blade or flathead screwdriver first)
With a regular flossing/sawing type motion, move the floss from side to side, across the badge
When you reach a given point, the badge should just come away in your hand
Repeat on each badge
Use an adhesive remover to take off what's left of the adhesive - Goof Off works well
For really good results, clean the area thoughly with overspray clay, and 'polish' with something like Scratch X
Who said flossing wasn't fun?
