repainting the C900tc

Should I anticipate saving quite a bit of money by removing all trim panels, bumpers, front end, etc from my cv, having the body shop prep and spray the car, and then reinstalling everything afterward?
Current paint is all original, but has typical chips from highway driving in areas like front of hood and wheel wells. A few door dings here and there, but body is otherwise straight and never been in an accident. no rust anywhere. Prep work would be much less involved than most other cars, but I would andicipate block wet sanding by the shop before paint.
Anyone have estimates on the cost for the job? Perhaps someone who has had their C900 painted before and is happy with the results? I want an OEM job, not a show car job where the shop spends days wetsanding with 15 micron then buffing. If I really wanted that, I would do it myself.
TIA,
JT
