I recently put synthetic engine oil in my 98 9000 CSE at 122k. I believe it had been serviced with dino all its previous life. I have since consulted other saabnet boards and learned that, in the opinion of some, I will soon have oil squirting out of everything. I am also going to use electrical contact cleaner to try and kill some electrical gremlins. I plan to use Gunk spray engine cleaner to mop up. Will any of this cause problems with the finish inside or outside the engine compartment? Or any electric connections or electronic functions?
