There are products made to remove chewing gum by freezing it. Sprayway makes a dedicated gum remover. You could try some ice or maybe using some of that compressed air in a can that is used for cleaning computers.... you know, get the can to spray out the stuff frozen? There are other ideas and products on the web so you may want to research them as well.
However you freeze it, when its hard chip off the gum and vacuum up the pieces. Should only take 10-15 mins to do, it's an easy job.
