While I was impressed by some of the special effects in The Matrix Reloaded quite a lot of the time I found myself watching a computer simulation i.e the long shot of the fight scene on top of the truck on the highway was too obviously "fake". The Matrix will be remembered as a movie for its special effects and that is it, whereas the LOTR will be remembered as a fantastic story with brilliant effects, great actors (Keanu Reeves needs to go to acting school again), fantastic scenery and the fact that The Matrix is all hype and the fight scenes bordered on the ridiculous at times! We went to see The Matrix Reloaded on Sunday afternoon and there were about 30 people in the whole cinema.
