There is a huge difference. Yes the motorcycles at bike week are just as loud or louder than the crotch rockets at black bike week, but the bike week crowd is a little older maybe average in the upper 30s to lower 50s, while the black bike week averages in the 20s. So in general, the older group is going to be more responsible....having said that, there are idiots of all ages. If I had to pick, then I would pick regular ol' bike week over black bike week to be at the beach. I'm not being racist, just old and tired, 'cause the older crowd beds down earlier, while the younger crowd goes all night. I personally think that it is offensive to allow it to be called black biker week (it seems so narrow minded as opposed to bike week). I also think it is the right of the store owner to close down when they want to for whatever reason they want to. They loose money when they are closed, so it is their loss and their reasons.
