Looks like I'll try to steer our group (my boss & some sales guys) towards one of the areas you all mentioned. If I get to fly solo the 2nd night I'm there I'll probably head to one of the younger beach area bars. I'm 29, so no need to hang in upper crust establishment restaurants when I could throw back a few cold ones with the locals.

Mike, this is a quick trip down, so I'll have to take you up on your offer on another trip. If toyota buys our system for the plant they're making in TJ, you can bet I'll spend a lot of time on both sides of the border.

As for customs and crossing, is it worse than Canada? I've crossed the US-Canada border by car in the Buffalo area over 30 times in the past year, with maybe 2 or 3 minor hassles.
