the whole manufacturing process of carbon fibre goes a little something like this (I'm assuming this is how it's done for your bike): develop appropriate fibre orientation, and inject the resin at high pressure and temperature to ensure that it fills all of the voids around the fibres.
In your case, you would have to inject a resin at a high pressure and allow it to cure (similar process to stone chip repair). I'm not sure how this could be done at a small bike shop...you may have to search around for a larger shop to do a proper fix.
How deep is the crack that you have? Does it run parallel or against the fibres? Do you see any broken fibres?
If you have fibre damage, the odds of catastrophic failure increase dramatically, since these are the load carrying parts of the composite. If it's only a resin crack, you could probably patch it and be reasonably safe. Haven't seen the damage, so I can't comment for sure.
Good luck,
Cheers,
Mark
