Hello, everyone. I have recently fallen victim to spyware and am currently having a very difficult time removing such. I have utilized all that spybot, ad-aware, and several other spyware programs have to offer, but to no avail. I have cleaned out the registry numerous times, finding files associated with "bmeb" as the culprit of my problems. I have deleted these files time after time, but they keep reappearing. In one of the spyware programs, a corrupted file was found in c:\winnt\system32\bmeb.dll but I am unable to locate that file. When I enter Internet Explorer, an unwanted advertisement pops up and approximately 8 additional icons take up residence on my desktop. In Internet Explorer, there is an additional (and unwanted) toolbar. I can remove the toolbar, but it reappears the next time IE is launched. Every site I visit that has advertisements displays the same identical advertisement. This advertisement is hosted by traffichog.com and is quite an eye-sore. Now when I visit numerous sites, a Windows error box pops up stating "This page provides potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX control. Your current security settings prohibit running controls in this manner. As a result, this page may not display correctly." As you can see, I am having quite a time with this and would very much like to resolve the issue in the near future. Hopefully there is an effective (and very inexpensive) means to resolution. If you have any questions, please let me know. Otherwise, I look forward to receiving your feedback soon. Thanks in advance for your help and cooperation, as it is greatly appreciated.
