SAAB is weird says Bob

Let me get this straight. Bob Lutz of GM says SAABs are weird cars,he indirectly devalues their engines by making a very generalized statement that they have always been "borrowed" and to paraphrase him he suggests something urgently needs to be done about making them more mainstream. Well if I wanted something more like the last why would I have purchased now 2 9-5 wagons in a space of 2 years for our family,at a total Canadian dollar cost of $110,000.I am more than satisfied with the cars, and I knew well ahead they had subpar depreciation value. I simply loved the first and have never regretted either. NOW Mr. Big Shot tells me in a way he is giving SAAB an ultimatum to change, ?OR ELSE?. How soon is he planning to pull the plug .If he is unhappy with the engines why did he not make more haste in addressing this in the past few years?.But the real point is that now that I am REALLY going to get burned on depreciation with Lutz,s criticism ,in the open,of his own product[remarkable]WHY would I buy another SAAB when I will need a replacement in 2 years? I think I will be looking for a reasonable commitment from GM they will carry the line further while maintaining the quality of the product. And even then I wont believe him.
